The Retractable Maintenance System is a strategic solution for installing and maintaining obstruction lights on vertical structures that cannot easily be reached without taking special safety precautions.

The system enables the lights to be lowered to the ground so that replacement and maintenance operations can be carried out without having to work at height.

There are currently 3 versions of Retractable©; the best solution is chosen according to the height of the structure and the weight of the lights to be supported.

Retractable Rope Compact Retractable Rope Retractable Rail
Use Lightweight lights Any type of light Any type of light
Max H H < 35 m H < 165 m No limits
L H/5
Features
  • An interface only needs to be developed at the top of the structure.
  • The cable is not tensioned and runs parallel with the structure.
  • There is a manual “winch” at the base.
  • An interface only needs to be developed at the top of the structure.
  • The cable is tensioned and inclined to prevent it from interfering with the structure.
  • A manual “winch” can be installed at the base; an electric screwdriver can be connected to the interface to make this motorised.
  • Multiple rail interfaces must be developed with the structure; however, it can reach any feasible height.
  • Minimal obstruction at the base.
  • Does not put any strain on the structure, except from that of its own weight.
  • A manual “winch” can be installed at the base; an electric screwdriver can be connected to the interface to make this motorised.
